Last night was cold again. I could feel it creeping in around the edges and I woke up this morning wishing I had turned up the heater before bed. I bundled up over the top of my jammies and ran out to take a couple of frost pictures. Sam very helpfully got down out of his highchair, where he was eating cereal, and closed the door that I had left open so I could hear him if he needed me. I came back inside, "Why did you close the door?" He turned from where he was climbing back into his chair to finish breakfast, "Because I open it when you knock to come in." Apparently he wanted to be able to answer the door and let me in. I went back outside, closing the door behind me. I knocked. I could hear him calling, "Coming, Mommy!" as he climbed back out of his chair. He opened the door grinning, "Hi! Hi!" and then went back to his chair and breakfast. Funny little guy.
I like this one Jen! I didin't know you liked to take pictures too! A friend did a long series of pictures with a small cat figurine that I have really enjoyed. I too have been trying to get motivated to post more of my hobby.
