There are several staircases along the north side of the little butte by my house. Apparently there used to be houses there and they were all moved or torn down 50 or 60 years ago. Now all that's left is the old retaining wall, made of unmortared stone and the stairways to hillside and trees. Because they're on the north side, they never get sunshine. They're covered in moss and ferns. Sad and magical all at the same time. Also hard to take nice photos of because the light is sucktastic. This one's the best of the many I shot.
Get Photoshop Elements, It will help correct things.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip. I will certainly check it out. I have decided that this blog is going to be all unaltered photos, but I sure do like to play with photoshop for other stuff!
