The rain necessitated that our AM walk be quick. We took a short cut down a neighbor's walkway that leads from the street through to the alley. Halfway down the walkway we found gorgeous, brilliant orange Chinese poppies. Did I say that tulips and irises were my favorite flowers? I did? Well, I must have been forgetting about Chinese poppies, cuz, oh man, they're something else. Sam's pretty cute in that rain coat, too.
